Aerial view of the Cape Town campus of the SAAO (former Royal Observatory), officially declared to be a National Heritage Site in 2018. The Main Building of 1825-28 is in the middle. There are several other historic telescopes on the Cape Town campus. Unfortunately, most of these are usually closed to the public. The links below give further information.
