Doug Carlson skryf: This modified-colour photo of the Lagoon Nebula area is an unguided shot taken with a
tripod-mounted 35mm camera (Nikon FE with 50mm Nikor lens at f/1.8,
Konica Centuria 400 film, exposure duration 25 sec, cable release and
mirror lock-up via self-timer. I present a photo course from time-to-time (see www.mira9.co.za) which, if the participants are interested, includes a section on basic astrophotography.
